The Microsoft SQL 2005 Express database is required to run the Taxi Fleet Manager application. It is free of charge and easy to install. You will be prompted in the due course of events to install it. This document should help and guide your through this process.
When you are prompted to install the SQL2005 Express database do following:
Accept the licensing term and condition and click next.
Click Install when ready.
Click Next
You may get a warning at some line seen above. In any case simply click Next.
Type in the names you wish, this is not important.
Select all features if possible and click next.
Click Next.
The next part is very important!
It does not matter which password you use, but note it down. The important part is that you must install it in
Mixed Mode (Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication).
You may leave all that unchecked if you like, and follow the prompts until you come to the end of the installation.
