Imagine you have made a mistake, in setting up your database engine during installation process. Our software installer is smart enough to make it easy for you. You will not need to download an install version of the database engine from the Internet, but it is already on your computer. You will find it near the install directory where the database manager has been installed.
Let's say your Taxi Fleet Manager install Directory was in C:\Program Files\Supremweb\TFM, which is the normal directory where it normally installs, you will find the installer file at prequisites\SQLExpressInstaller\ directory. So the complete Directory would be: C:\Program Files\Supremweb\TFM\prequisites\SQLExpressInstaller. There you will find a file called either sqlexpr32.exe or sqlexpr64.exe depending on weather you have a 32 or 64 bit machine.
You will need to open your Windows Explorer (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Window Explorer) and then navigate to the file directory.
If our software recognizes that this database engine has not been installed, a prompt screen will show up and you only need to click the INSTALL button. You do not need to worry about navigating with the Windows Explorer. You only need to navigate there manually if this prompt does not start up.
So the complete file path would be: C:\Program Files\Supremweb\TFM\prequisites\SQLExpressInstaller\sqlexpr32.exe or
C:\Program Files\Supremweb\TFM\prequisites\SQLExpressInstaller\sqlexpr64.exe.
Once you have found it, double click on the sqlexpr32.exe or the sqlexpr64.exe to install or repair the database engine. For more info of how to install or repair it, click here.
